So apparently I am horrible at this blog thing, you'd think since I have nothing else to do in a day (hahahaha) that I would be more on top of this! Maybe Matt should be the blogger in the family!

So what has happened since I wrote last? Well....a lot of people have come and gone and lots and lots of fish have been caught. We just finished up with a great week of Muskies with many caught in the 40"+ range with the biggest one coming in at 49.5". There were four "personal best" catches of 49.5", 48", 47" and 44".

As for the walleyes and northerns, we had many walleyes caught this year in the 25"+ size and the biggest northern coming in at 43". Even the perch were big this year in the 10-12" range and boy are they plentiful!

The weather has been great as well, but we have had many thunderstorms, but no damages thankfully. The water is currently 77' and clear in Miles Bay, however, some green has come and gone and probably will be back.

Projects that we hope to complete this summer are: renovate the second shower room, construct a lumber storage shed and add a couple of panels to the solar system. We might have to put the tear down and construction of a new cabin #1 off until the next year. We might just have the walls constructed (log) and then save up for the rest of the building materials and get it built on site for the spring of 2012. So don't worry those of you who stay in cabin #1, the same cabin will be waiting for you next year.

Hmmm, maybe the problem with this blog is that instead of writing a little bit at a time, I save it all up and put it down all at once, maybe I should spread this news out a little bit so I have more entries :)

Until next time....
